If youāre ready to live your most luxurious, holiday-sparkly Richmond life, The Jefferson Hotel is theĀ place to do it in December. Hereās the exact itinerary from our stay - perfectly paced, perfectly festive, and perfectly Richmond.
You donāt have to book an overnight stay to soak up the holiday magic. Swing by The Jeffersonās lobby to admire the stunning dĆ©cor, grab a bite or a drink at TJās, and enjoy an elegant dinner or cocktail at Lemaire. Itās the perfect festive outing all on its own!

ā 3:00 PM: Check In & Head to the Room
You can use their valetĀ to park or find street parkingĀ around the hotel (some are only 2-3 hour parking spots though!)
Head up to your room, drop your bags, and take a moment to soak in the historic charm. The Jefferson rooms are spacious and feel so luxurious!

ā 3:30 PM: Unwind & Refresh
Kick off your shoes, relax, or maybe chill on the bed. Freshen up, change into your nighttime attire, and get ready for a festive evening.

ā 4:00 PM: Holiday Lobby Wander + Happy Hour at TJās
Head downstairs to The Jeffersonās lobby and admire all the amazing Christmas decorations. The Christmas dĆ©cor here is iconic. There are towering trees, garlands for days, twinkling lights and the gingerbread sculpture that's new every year!
After exploring and taking your photos, pop downstairs (near the large Christmas tree on the right) into TJāsĀ for a happy hour drink.

ā 5:00 PM: Dinner at Lemaire
Time for dinner! Youāll want reservationsĀ for the full Lemaire experience, but if you didnāt snag any, no stress. Their lounge is first-come, first-servedĀ and just as beautiful.
Dinner here usually takes about 1.5 hours, so settle into the candlelight, enjoy your meal, and soak up the elegant atmosphere.

ā 7:00 PM: Off to a Show
Showtime! We headed to see Les Miz at Altria Theater, which also has glorious festive vibes in December! Also during the month of December The Nutcracker with the Richmond Ballet is playing at The Carpenter Theatre (Dec 6-23) which I highly recommend!

*The Jefferson Hotel offers a shuttle that drops you off anywhere you want to go, which removes any and all parking drama. (Shuttle not available on Mondays & Tuesdays)

ā 9:45 PM: Nightcap Back at the Room
Return to your room after the show and wind down with a little nightcap. Itās the perfect ending to a perfect night.

ā 10:00 PM: Robe Time & Cozy Dreams
Slip into those iconic Jefferson Hotel robesĀ (trust me, they are so soft & comfy) and crawl into bed to watch a Christmas movie. The Jefferson tvs come with Chromecast, so you can stream literally anything your heart desires. We turned on The Santa Clause,Ā and it was the ultimate cozy holiday vibe!
