Spicy Garlic Tofu Bowl recipe

This bowl is for those who want something super easy, delicious, and filling. It has quickly became a favorite in our house!



Ingredients:

1 block of tofu, cubed

Sauce:

2 TB cornstarch

2 TB maple syrup

1 TB sriracha

1 TB soy sauce

2 TB garlic, minced


1/2 cucumber, sliced

1/4 pepper, sliced

1 carrot, sliced

1/2 avocado, sliced


1 stalk of green onion, diced

1 cup cooked rice


Instructions:

1. Toss the cubed tofu and fry in a pan (with a little olive oil) until browned on all sides. Mix the sauce ingredients in a bowl, then add over the tofu coating them all. Fry for a little longer until sauce is incorporated.


2. To a bowl add the cooked rice and any sliced veggies you want. Add the tofu and top with green onions. Sometimes I like to add a little extra soy sauce or sriracha if needed. Enjoy!
