Easy & Delicious Vegan Waffle recipe

This is our favorite weekend breakfast! We can only make these when we have a waffle maker available (and since we travel full-time, that's rare!), but when we do, we make them every weekend! SO good!



INGREDIENTS: 2 TB ground flax + 5 TB water

1 1/2 cups plant milk 1 TB apple cider vinegar 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1 TB baking powder 1/2 tsp salt 3 TB sugar 5 TB vegan butter

Toppings: Strawberries, sliced Coconut whipped cream

Maple syrup


INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Pre-heat waffle iron.

  2. Combine flax seed & water, set aside for 15 minutes.

  3. In a separate bowl combine plant milk & apple cider vinegar.

  4. Add all dry ingredients together & mix.

  5. Melt butter and add into the liquids bowl. Add flax mixture into liquids bowl as well.

  6. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients slowly, but don’t over mix.

  7. Pour waffles into waffle iron, cook per instructions.

  8. Top with any toppings you would like.
