2. The 1st New Year’s Eve ball drop was held in 1907.⠀

3. Largest crowd record was 2 million people celebrating WWII ending on August 14, 1945 there.⠀

4. Times Square is smoke free w/ a $50 fine if you do.⠀

5. The buildings must have a minimum amount of display lighting.⠀

During COVID, there aren’t many people here. We were surprised at how many tables and chairs were available, but makes sense since the Broadway shows are cancelled.⠀
